Terms of service for Amara Rae, West End, Atlanta

A deposit holds your seat and goes toward your total. It is non-refundable if you no-show or cancel within 48 hours, and it moves with you if you reschedule once with more notice than that. Braiding takes hours, so the deposit keeps that time held for you and nobody else.

Braided styles take between two and seven hours depending on the style, size, and length. I tell you the real time when you book. Please arrive on time. More than 20 minutes late may mean we shorten the style or reschedule so the rest of the day stays on track.

Prices on this site are starting points. Length, size, and added hair change the work, so you get an exact quote when you book and before I start. The price we agree on at booking is the one that counts.

Please tell me about scalp conditions, recent chemical treatments, thinning, or tender areas before we start. If I believe a style will stress your hair or your edges need a rest, I will tell you and suggest something that works. I may decline a style I think is not safe for your hair.

Come with clean, detangled, blown-out hair, or add a wash-and-prep when you book. If you bring your own hair, bring the amount and type we agreed on. Hair that arrives dirty or in an old style may need to be rescheduled.

How long a style lasts depends on your hair and on aftercare. I give you a simple night routine at every appointment, and following it is part of getting the result you came for. If a braid or loc comes loose within the first week, message me and I will fix it.
